your body holds the blueprint for everything you create

Updated: Oct 25

For almost 25 years, I lived disconnected from my own body. Not because I wanted to, but because I was taught to. I numbed myself with birth control for over five years. I took acne medication so strong I had to get a pregnancy test every month because it could mutilate a fetus immediately. I smoked, I drank, I let men into my space who didn’t deserve to be there. I punished my body to keep performing, functioning, fitting in. On the outside, I was part of something. Inside, I was utterly disconnected.

And here’s the thing: I’m not alone in this. You’ve probably felt it, too.

how disconnection is taught to us

This separation from our bodies is not an accident, it’s systemic. It’s in our upbringing, our schools, our culture. But history shows us the deeper roots. During the witch hunts, women were literally burned for trusting their cycles, living by the moon and seasons, and practising rites that are now labelled “evil.” They weren’t powerless. They were feared.

Fast forward, and the pattern continues. Did you know birth control was first tested on women without their consent? Many died. Many still carry lifelong damage. Our bodies are treated as experiments, never as sacred.

And today? We’re told we are “free,” that we are “fighting for our rights.”Meanwhile, the system quietly nudges us further away from the very things that make us powerful – our rhythms, our cycles, our embodied wisdom.

why our bodies are our greatest tool

Here’s the truth they don’t want you to see: Your body isn’t a burden. It’s your blueprint.

It’s how you know when something is off. It’s how you make decisions. It’s how you birth not just children, but ideas, creations, businesses, entire worlds.

Your body is your compass, your strategy, your vessel. When you ignore it, you lose connection. When you listen, you access an endless well of clarity, creativity, and courage.

It took me almost 25 years to understand this. To realise that my body wasn’t my enemy, it was my greatest ally. And when I began listening, everything changed. Not just in my health, but in my work, my relationships, my brand. Because when your brand is built in alignment with your body and soul, it’s not just “strategy.”It’s sustainable. It can hold you when you need to pause, rest, or retreat. It grows with you, instead of demanding you perform for it.

I create brands for women who are ready to lean back into themselves. To create from their body, not against it. To honour their cycles, their creativity, their truth. A brand built this way isn’t just business, it’s a form of rebellion. It’s a homecoming. It’s an act of power.

Because when we reclaim our bodies, we reclaim the way we create. And that changes not just our businesses, but the world.

a question for you

So now, I want to ask you: What is the core calling of what you do? What world are you here to move?

Drop it in the comments below or journal on it today. Because when women rise in their embodied power, we don’t just run businesses. We move worlds.
