why your brand should not be built around your offerings

One of the most power

ful reminders I share regularly with the women I work with is that the tools, modalities, courses, and certifications we collect throughout our lives are not our medicine. Our medicine is us. It lives within our bodies, our hearts, our lived experiences, our wounds, our joys, our stories, our way of seeing the world. This is where embodied wisdom lives.

Of course, there is immense value in learning. I looove learning. But knowledge only becomes wisdom when it has moved through us, when it has shaped us, changed us and when we have lived it. People do not connect to information, they connect to truth and to resonance. And resonance is something that can only be deeply felt on an energetic level.

So souls come to us because they feel understood. They may finally see parts of themselves reflected in us... maybe because we dare to speak truths they have not yet found the words for themselves, yet.

I am a woman of many stories and many versions of myself (I have always wanted to write a book about them because there is so much to share haha) I am the woman who has chosen life over and over and over again. The woman who made decisions that sometimes still keep her awake at night. The woman who has loved deeply, lost deeply, broken her own heart and had it broken by others. The woman who ended up in a cult in desperation, the woman who spent years living out of a backpack, searching for freedom across continents. The woman who had to learn (repeatedly) that no place, person, or experience could give her what she was unwilling to give herself. Many of those scars still ache from time to time.

But the question is would I change any of it? Absolutely not.

Because every heartbreak, every "wrong" turn (no such thing as "wrong", just lessons in disguise), every season of confusion became part of the medicine I carry today. I do not have many certifications on paper. Yet I would call myself a devoted student of life, love, creativity, and the human experience; and perhaps that is why I have come to trust that the work we share today may not be the exact work we share tomorrow.

Our businesses evolve because we evolve. Our offerings shift because we shift. And I believe personally that that is not inconsistency or "fickleness". It is simply: aliveness. Which is why, when women come to me feeling overwhelmed by all their ideas, passions, projects, and offerings, I always return to the same truth:

You are the brand. You are not the logo, or website, or niche, most "salesy" offer.

Your brand is simply the container that holds your medicine. Your offerings are the ways your medicine chooses to express itself in this season of your life. When we understand this, we finally allow ourselves to exhale and to soften. Maybe we stop trying to squeeze ourselves into a perfectly curated online presence or identity even. Maybe we stop endlessly reinventing ourselves every time we grow. Maybe we stop believing that clarity lives outside of us.

And instead, we begin birthing from a deeper place. A place rooted in who we are rather than what we sell. Because honestly there are very few truly unique offerings left in the world. The market is soo saturated that almost every modality, service, framework, and strategy already exists. And that's okay, as there is one thing that has never existed before and never will again:

It's your way of expressing truth, your perspective on things, your lived experience, your energy, and of course your medicine. This is why people choose one mentor over another, or one healer or brand doula over the other. Because they trust her, they feel her. They resonate with the way she has genuinely embodied what she teaches.

And I believe this is where devotion comes in. The devotion to yourself and your path to remembering who you always were beneath all those layers of doubt and protection. Devotion to the medicine that life has been cultivating within you all along.

So recently, I had the honour of guiding a circle of women through exactly this exploration inside a thirteen-day cacao and embodiment journey called Devotion to Your Medicine. Together, we opened the space under the new moon in taurus, journeyed through these 13 days held by the four elements, and closed with the full moon in sagittarius. All this held by the spirit of mama cacao inviting us to soften deeper into our bodies and hearts.

Together, we explored what it means to trust our voices, honour our sensitivity, reconnect with our bodies, remember our purpose, and create from a place of devotion and feminine flow. Because oftentimes the greatest shift is not learning something entirely new, but often it is finally remembering what has been within us all along. While our offerings, modalities, and even the work itself may evolve throughout our lives, there is usually one thread that remains unchanged. One deeper intention woven through every chapter, every heartbreak, every lesson, every creation, and every offering we bring into the world. The reason we chose this path in the first place. And when we lose touch with that deeper why, our work can begin to feel heavy, performative, or disconnected from the woman creating it.

This is why devotion matters... devotion to the truth that lives beneath it all, to your body, your creativity, your guiding values, your voice and to the medicine that life has been cultivating within you through every experience you have ever lived.

And because the journey was so profound and well received, I have now birthed a self-paced version of Devotion to Your Medicine. This is a space you can return to whenever you feel disconnected from your purpose, your creativity, your truth, or the deeper meaning behind your work as you have lifetime access to it. I don't want it to be a course to complete or another framework to follow, but a pilgrimage to return back to your truth, over and over again.
