aquarius full moon ☾serving the collective by being fully yourself

There is a certain kind of exhaustion moving through the collective right now. The exhaustion of constantly becoming, optimising, intellectualising. Constantly searching for the highest, most "enlightened" version of ourselves. Even our healing journeys have become something we are taught to optimise.

And this is why this aquarius full moon arrives as a gentle reminder; what if the most powerful form of growth is not found in doing more? What if it is found in doing nothing instead?

When we think of aquarius today, we often think of the future. Innovation, technology, rebellion, breaking the norm, unconventional thinking. And while these themes are deeply connected to the sign, its ancient symbolism carries a much deeper message. Because aquarius was actually known as the water bearer, and that although this is an air sign. It was known as the one who receives the waters of wisdom and pours them back into the collective. It is the vessel, and the bridge. The one who carries something from the unseen into the seen. The water bearer represented the relationship between the divine and the human, between higher knowledge and earthly embodiment.

Today this reminds us that wisdom is not meant to be collected through labels and certificates, but it flows through us. However before we can pour, we must first become a vessel strong enough to hold what wants to move through us.

this is a moon for questioning where we are conditioned

This full moon invites us to look beyond the obvious and to zoom out. It invites us to witness the invisible forces shaping our choices, our desires, our identities, in the micro and macro sense.

What have we been taught about success?

What have we been taught about productivity?

What beliefs have we absorbed from our environments, our cultures, our industries, our families?

Aquarius carries the gift of healthy detachment, meaning not as a form of escapism but creating enough space to witness the patterns we are caught inside of, so we can step back from the story and ask is this actually mine? Or is this something I learned to survive, belong, or be accepted?

a collective purge

I think it's apparent that there is a deep recalibration happening. Old structures are being questioned, identities being shed. Many systems built on patriarchy, power dynamics, and separation are revealing their darkness. I believe this is why so many of us feel like we are moving through some form of purging. A collective death if you may. And this is important because before something new can emerge, the old structures that cannot hold it anymore have to dissolve.

On a micro level it looks like losing interest in things that once motivated you, or maybe it looks like realising that the path you were chasing no longer feels alive and fulfilling. Or sometimes it looks like sitting in uncertainty and resisting the uncomfortable urge to immediately fill the void.

This is a big part of the medicine of aquarius; allowing the "old vessel" to break and making space for new waters to flow through you.

the difference between collective wisdom & conditioning

I have also been reflecting a lot about the spiritual and healing spaces we are creating. There is so much beauty here and so much wisdom and I absolutely support the desire to create collective healing. And yet somehow, there is also an invitation for even deeper discernment. In my opinion, there is a difference between sharing "collective" wisdom and losing ourselves inside those collective narratives.

There is a difference between being connected and being diluted. And I think there is one thing we can all agree on... the collective does not need more copied voices. What it needs is embodiment, individuality, truth. People who have gone into the depths of their own experience and returned with something only they can carry.

Your medicine is not created by trying hard to become more "unique" nor is it created by trying to fit into some of those (spiritual) boxes. Your medicine is revealed through devotion to what is already alive within you.

your individuality is your medicine

This is where aquarius meets the fiery sign of leo. With the sun currently in leo, we are reminded of the power of radical self-expression. Being weird, being unapologetically you. The courage to create from our own deepest core. The courage to honour that fire that only we carry.

BUT like I said, true individuality is not about creating a carefully curated identity and should certainly no be build around separating ourselves from others (because at the end of the day, that's exactly what they want us to do, seperate).

True individuality is a remembering and it lives in –

What moves you

What breaks your heart

What awakens your sacred rage

What you cannot ignore

What has been shaped through your own grief, your own transformation, your own becoming

The parts of yourself you have metabolised

The experiences you have alchemised

The wisdom you have collected

That is the medicine no one can copy, nor fabricate.

devotion to your medicine

This is the heart of my work with Devotion to Your Medicine.

What I have birthed here is not another brand strategy or marketing course to complete but a ever-important devotional space inviting you to finally return to the relationship with yourself, to the source, the truth underneath ALL the conditioning.

The impact we make in the world does not begin with abandoning ourselves for the collective. It begins with tending to ourselves so so deeply that what we offer comes from a place of wholeness. We can only serve from our own inner well by returning to ourselves. The medicine you carry is not separate from your contribution, it is the very thing that allows you to contribute.

some extra love under this moon

Aquarius is an air sign, so naturally it brings ideas, perspective, vision, possibility. Generally, we have all been moving through a lot of air and sun and little earth, energetically. BUT every vision and idea and possibility also needs roots to manifest. Every "new" world needs bodies willing to embody it. Soooo, this powerful full moon is not asking us to live only in the mind and to focus on what's next, but instead it is asking

How can we ground our visions into our daily lives?

How can we protect our energy while remaining connected to the collective?

How can we stay open to receiving without abandoning our own truth?

We carry all elements within us.

We need the air to re-imagine and speak.

The fire to birth and inspire.

The water to connect and feel.

And the earth to ground and embody.

And right now it is important to tap into the element of earth and water, so we can ground and tend to all that is moving and burning within and without.

In a world that applauses constant re-invention and self-improvement, this moon is not there for endless self-analysis and picking your story apart but it is a moon for complete surrender. Also, it's a potent time for prayer and song, really tapping into the power of the air element which is deeply connected to our voices and our truth. Allowing everything you have moved through over the past days, weeks, months, years, to acknowledge as part of your powerful wisdom.

The water bearers do not keep the waters to themselves, they receive, they embody and they pour from what they have gathered. So together, may we remember that our deepest individuality is not separate from the collective. It is our offering to it.

Further questions to gently reflect on, or send into the energetic field of this full moon

What have I been carrying that was never mine?

What is ready to be released?

What wisdom has my journey given me?

What wants to move through me now?
